Zoho Bigin

The Bigin connector calls the deals of a Bigin view in a Dialfire campaign. Each deal comes with its contact and company. After each call it logs the call on the deal, updates the fields and creates a meeting when an appointment is booked.

For the principles shared by all connectors, see How connectors work.

Requirements

  • A Dialfire account and a Bigin account.
  • A Dialfire user with administrator rights.
  • A Bigin user who may see and edit deals, contacts and companies.

Step 1: Prepare a view in Bigin

In Bigin, open the Deals list (Pipelines) and create a custom view whose filter contains exactly the deals you want to call.

Step 2: Connect Bigin

  1. Open connect.dialfire.com/connectors/bigin and sign in to Dialfire with your administrator user.
  2. Sign in with your Zoho account and accept the access.

Step 3: Link a view

  1. Choose the Bigin view.
  2. Choose the Dialfire campaign type and a title, then click .

Step 4: Fields and phone number

Open the binding with . There are sections for deal fields, contact fields and company fields. Deal name, amount, pipeline, stage and closing date are preselected, along with name, phone numbers, e-mail and address of the contact and company.

Phone number: Dialfire dials the Phone field. If the contact and the company both have one, the company's number is used. Keep this in mind if you prefer to call the contact person directly.

How the synchronization works

  • New deals in the view arrive with the regular synchronization (about every 10 minutes while the campaign is being called, or when you click Synchronize).
  • Changes are applied at night (between 1 and 5 am) or when you click Synchronize.
  • Deals that leave the view are taken out of the call queue once two synchronizations in a row confirm it (a manual synchronization does it immediately), provided the view lists the deals by creation date, oldest first. With any other sort order they stay in the Dialfire campaign; then give them a final result in Dialfire.

What Dialfire writes to Bigin

After each call, when the contact passes the Bigin Push task:

  • Call: "Call in Dialfire" on the deal, with the direction, call result, phone numbers and a link to the recording.
  • Fields: changed values of the selected deal, contact and company fields.
  • Meeting (calendar campaign): a booked appointment becomes an event on the deal.

Setting up Dialfire for your calls

Each binding creates a new campaign in your Dialfire account. Log in to Dialfire and:

  1. Set the caller ID for your outgoing calls.
  2. Add your agents in the Users menu.
  3. Check the call and recording settings of the tasks.
  4. Check the contact form (menu Campaign, Form view) and make sure the fields your agents need are visible.

See How connectors work for an example of such a campaign.

The campaign template already contains the Bigin Push task, which sends the results to the CRM after each call. You can adapt the task flow and the form to your needs at any time.
